Step
1: Take one section
of hair (about one inch
in diameter) and gently
make a loop from the ends
(or a circle) and secure
it to the scalp. I usually
do this style after an
old twist out, but you
can try it on damp hair
too.
If
you plan on wearing tendrils,
take them out prior to
selecting the sections.
Step
2: Continue step
one between 4 - 12 times.
It depends on the length
of your hair and how fancy
you want you updo to be.
More sections = a more
dramatic hair do.
Step
3: Once you secure
the section, use your
fingers to loosen the
hair. (This is hard to
explain sorry).
Step
4: When you’re
done, you can add pretty
barrettes or hair clips
to spice it up even more!
You need to determine
which direction you want
you hair to go in, so
it makes take a few tries
to get it right.
Another
option:
Step
1: Leave a section
of hair out at the top.
If you are going to wear
tendrils, now is the time
to carefully pull them
out.
Step
2: Fingercomb
the hair towards the left
side of your head.
Step
3: Place bobby
pins directly down the
center to pin in place.
Step
4: Overlap the
hair on the right side
towards the left side
and gently roll it under
and pin in down.
Step
5: Take that
top portion from step
one and roll under and
secure with bobby pins.
•
With anything it will
take practice to get
it right. You don't
need long hair to
do this. I did this
style when I had 4
- 6 inches of hair.
• For shorter
parts, you can use
hair clamps or barrettes
to hold in place.
Also try doing this
style after taking
down your twists for
a very pretty effect
of waves.
