I use this before i blow dry my hair. It seals cuticle surfaces which reduces damage from thermal styling. It helps detangle and makes my hair soft and shiny. It's odorless, non-greasy and its consistency is a little thick. You only need a dime size amount, more than that will leave your hair feeling a little hard after blow drying. I also use it every now and then for sheen.

There is also a liquid sheen version of this that comes in a spray, but I haven't used it yet. It's expensive, but so worth the money. In my opinion, it's essential to have if you ever blow-dry your natural hair.
