Here is a list of the current hair products and hair treatments I use. I occasionally like to try new things, but I always come back to the following items listed below. I live in a climate where it's hot and humid in the summer and cold and windy in the winter, so I have two very different routines I follow. I don't use all the products at once and I like to switch up once in a while.
Disclaimer: This regimen works for me and my hair. Every head of hair is not created equal, so I suggest trying different products and routines to see what works for you. :)

I also enjoy using the following products once in a while:

Daily Regimen:
1. Unravel the flat-twist, twist or braids and go. Or if I'm wearing a wash and go look, I follow these instructions.
Nighly Regimen:
1. I apply a little of my leave-in conditioner mixture.
2. Proceed to flat-twist, twist or braid my hair into large sections.
3. Put a little oil on my ends.
4. Put on a scarf.

My every other week routine:
1. I clarify my hair with a warm water/baking soda mixture as a rinse before deep conditioning. This helps to get rid of the build up on my hair and it really does get my hair clean and it's not harsh. After doing this, my natural sheen returns, my hair is clean and the build-up is gone.
2. Then I follow with a deep conditioner mixed with a little olive oil, avocado oil or coconut oil. I put my hair in several sections and apply. Then I cover with saran wrap or a plastic grocery bag and leave on for a couple of hours. Then I rinse out and my hair feels heavenly and very moisturized!

Other Notes:
- The only time I use (indirect) heat is when I sit under my dryer to deep condition (only for appx. 5 minutes) and I don't straighten my hair.
- I trim or dust my ends about every 2 months.
- I detangle about every week or two (depending on how I am wearing my hair) with a K-Cutter comb and Biolage Detangling Solution. During those in between days, I use my fingers to detangle in the shower.
- At night, I don't do much to my hair - I usually put my hair into one braid with a little oil on the ends and lsleep with a stocking cap. Here's how to make a stocking cap: take a pair of regular black stockings and cut the legs off (leave about 2 inches to tie in a knot) and place it on your head. Be careful not to make it too tight or you can end up with breakage along your hairline
