This is my “go to” leave-in conditioner recipe. It keeps my hair soft and smelling great. I usually apply this before braiding my hair for a braid out. Be sure to clarify to get rid of build-up.
Double up the recipe as needed and substitute ingredients as you need. It’s a thick mixture and it should be applied to soaking wet or damp hair best of all – you don’t need to use much! It will provide your hair with the perfect mixture of sheen, softness, curl definition, moisture and fragrance! It does not leave build up on my hair.
The consistency should be somewhat thick – but it does depend on the type of conditioner you use. It works best with thick, heavy conditioners such as Suave Humectant or Eluence.
PLEASE NOTE – If you purchase the conditioner that is featured above, you do not need to add Vegetable Glycerin or any oils because they are included in the conditioner (shea butter).
